Our Story

Established in early 2025, Forth & Cairn Books began as a competitions-based company, creating opportunities for writers to share their work and connect with readers.

In 2026, we signed our first author, Mr Russell McDougall. His publication brought Forth & Cairn Books massive online success. We specialise in competitions and champion new and young writers, especially in crime, fantasy and horror, with a particular focus on Scottish writers.
